His call to repentance is a call to for us to be restored in Christ, in repentance and rest.

The Word of the Lord to the Churches in this late hour is:

ASK THE LORD, to show you if you are: "resting in the faith of Jesus Christ" -by grace through the faith of Him, or if you are practicing your own faith.

ASK THE LORD, if you have "FALLEN FROM GRACE" (Gal.5:4) having been seduced by Jezebel's "other gospel."

ASK THE LORD, if you have been bewitched like foolish Galatians: striving to perfect in the flesh what was begun in the Spirit? (cf. Gal.3)

ASK THE LORD, if you have been beguiled even as Eve was beguiled (2Cor.11:3) and corrupted from the simplicity of Jesus Christ, in us the Hope of glory.

ASK THE LORD, If you are resting in Him who gave His life so that He Himself could become our All, and in all on behalf of all that have received Him. (cf. Col.3:11) or, if you have ignorantly succumbed to the false "gospel of man" and his quest "to be all that you can be" in Christ.

It is the Will of God that man should be reconciled to God in Christ -in whom and by whom we are called to labor to enter (by grace through the faith of Him) into His rest. (Heb.4:9-11) As it was the Will of God for the people of Israel (cf. Isa.30:15) to enter into His rest -but they would not because of the hardness of their hearts, (i.e., they refused to hear cf. Heb.3:8-19) so too, it is the Will of God the Father, that we should receive repentance "and rest" in Jesus Christ. (cf. Heb.4:1-11)

Not unlike rebellious Israel, we too have hardened our hearts and refused to hear what the Spirit saith unto the Churches. We have ignorantly resisted the plan and stubbornly opposed the purposes of God, in Christ.

"Not every one that saith unto me, Lord, Lord shall enter into the kingdom of heaven; but He that doeth the Will of my Father in heaven. Many will say to Me in that day, Lord -Lord, have we not prophesied in thy name? And in thy name have cast out devils? And in thy name done many wonderful works? And then I will profess unto them, I never knew you: depart from me, ye that work iniquity" (KJV Mt.7:21-23) "...for many are called, but few are chosen." (KJV Mt.22:14)

Consider carefully: according to "dead works" done in the flesh, as a result of many winds of false doctrines being taught, ARE "YOU" trying to "be like the Most High God"? -are "YOU" trying to "be like Jesus"?

It is imperative all of God's people understand the difference between being HIDDEN IN HIM by grace through the faith of Jesus -And seeking to be empowered to "try to be like Him" lest having been deceived by "another Jesus" and "another gospel" you discover too late to your great dismay and absolute horror that YOU YOURSELF ARE "the man" who was found without the PROPER wedding garment at His feast!

To be "clothed with Christ" with ourselves slain and hid with Christ in God ("putting on Christ" who is the New Man) is our wedding garment. Man trying to be like God (even LIKE Jesus) is that man who was found by the King to be without the wedding garment, and was bound hand and foot and he was cast into outer darkness; where there shall be weeping and gnashing of teeth. (cf. Mt.22:11-14)

If you HAVE accepted Jesus Christ as your Lord and Savior, but believe you are supposed to use the gifts of the Spirit and the grace of God to become like Him, you have been deceived. If you think you are by any means empowered to perfect yourself to become holy as He is holy or if you believe that you are empowered to be "like Jesus" --then, even though you are the very elect of God, you have been deceived, and are called to repent and rest in Him.

We are co-laborers with Christ when we rest in Him by grace through the faith of Him and He becomes the "operative person." There is a difference between trying to be "like Jesus" and resting in Him, hidden by Him asking "Jesus to be Jesus" for us! It is most assuredly NOT a matter of semantics, it is a matter of WHO is the operative person" -is it you, or Jesus Christ?

If it is you or your work that you are doing for Him, then it is not Jesus! He did not come to empower you or to enable you, He came to replace you and hide you in Himself. Jesus Christ did not come to make you able! He alone is able: THROUGH HIM and IN HIM and BY HIM, all of HIM and NONE of us. We are dead men and of our own selves, we can do nothing!

When Paul said: I can do all things through Christ which strengtheneth me, he said: THROUGH CHRIST to emphasize the fact that JESUS CHRIST Himself is the "operative Word" in that verse and not Paul! JESUS CHRIST with Paul hid in Him was the STRENGTH of Paul's life. In reference to his own life, Paul said: "I am crucified with Christ: nevertheless, I live; yet not I but CHRIST LIVETH in me, and the LIFE (meaning: JESUS, as his LIFE) which I now live in the flesh I live by the faith (not by the faith of Paul, but by the faith) of the Son of God, who loved me and gave HIMSELF for me." (cf. KJV Gal.2:20 in parenthesis added for explanation purposes only)

If you believe that YOU have been recreated in Christ so that YOU are now empowered by grace (as man has defined grace as spiritual empowerment) to be like Jesus or to in any way perfect yourself, you have been deceived. You have accepted the lie of a Christianized form of humanism: man's human potential in Christ, which is part of the false gospel.

But what about the scripture that says that if any man is in Christ, he is a new creature? (Please, keep reading)

In the Strongs concordance, if you look up the Greek word "creature" used in 2Cor.5:17 (Strongs #2937 ktisis) you will find it means: "the original formation, literally or figuratively: the thing, (building, creation, creature, ordinance) but if you look just below #2937 ktisis, you will see that it is not the same Greek word as: Strongs #2938 ktisma "original formation, i.e., product (created thing) -creature"

We/man/Adam are a part of God's creation, we are (Adam) the old thing that He created. But Jesus Christ is the New Thing that God spoke forth: He is the Word (John 1:1) of God and He came forth from the Father. He is very God and He is also fully man, called the Son of Man (having been given a physical body through His Mother, Mary) by God the Father: "a body hast thou prepared Me" (Heb.10:5) to do His Will: to restore man in Himself! "...then said I, Lo, I come (in the volume of the book it is written of Me, to do thy will, O God." (Heb.10:7) Notice what it says: Jesus Himself came to do "the Will of God" -something man himself is incapable of doing! The Will of God and the Works of God are done by God "in Christ" Himself --not us, we are dead and hidden in Him!

According to Eph.2:14-16 On the cross, in Christ God took of twain -which means God took of two: of Adam and Christ (who was fully God and fully man) and of the two, God made in Himself: in the person of Jesus Christ: ONE "New Man" -which is the LORD HIMSELF so that HE (GOD in Christ) might reconcile both (Adam and Christ) in one body (HIS OWN) by the cross...

"Behold, I do a New Thing; now it shall spring forth; shall ye not know it? I will even make a Way in the wilderness, and rivers in the desert." (Isa.43:19) The word "thing" used in the Hebrew in the above verse (Isa.43:19) is "dabar" -it also means: an utterance, a matter, commandment

In Hebrew, letters are (inscribed ) written down with markings which if removed would entirely alter or change the meaning. These markings are called the avi-ka-dabar (which means: "As My Father would have said it") It is the phrase from which (as a mockery of God) the phrase "abracadbra" was derived.

If you teach only the letter of the written word of God without the counsel of God by the Spirit of God concerning the Word of God -in Spirit and in Truth, "as My Father would have said it," then you have adulterated the word of God and made it "another gospel." When men use God's word for something other than His purposes, then what you have is "witchcraft." If you alter God's word and teach God's people to do the same, you are teaching the people rebellion.

If you remove the "avi-ka-dabar" from the Hebrew name for Psalm " 88" -and see what it would be as a word, instead of a number -you have the word "pach" which means a trap, a pit or a snare...

If you remove the counsel of God by the Spirit of God from the Word of God and substitute the counsel of man by the mind of man in his own understanding of the word of God...then, you have the snare of the fowler, spoken of in Ps.91:3 -just another one of those seemingly little things (like leaven) that we fail to realize can have serious failing to ask God, not seeking His Face for His Counsel...and substituting the teachings and doctrines and commandments of men...with their witchcraft (stubbornness of mind and idolizing false doctrines -like man, and what he thinks he is called to be in his own perception of himself in the image and likeness of God.)

Behold, that thing which has gone forth out of His mouth. He will not alter the word which He has spoken, and it shall not return unto Him void but it shall prosper in the THING where unto He sent it!

That "thing" that God is doing is our restoration to God in Himself: in Christ!

(by now you should be jumping for joy!)

Remember earlier, I told you that in the Strongs concordance, if you look up the Greek word "creature" as used in 2Cor.5:17 (Strongs #2937 ktisis) you will find it means: "the original formation, literally or figuratively: the thing, (building, creation, creature, ordinance)

Notice it not only means "creature" it says "the thing" --the THING that God is doing is the revelation of Jesus Christ, who shall soon appear with us hidden in Himself, as many sons, as members of His Body having been hidden by Him in Himself.

"Beloved, now we are the sons of God, and it doth not yet appear WHAT we shall be: but we know that when HE shall appear, we shall be like HIM, for we shall SEE HIM as HE IS." (KJV 1Jn.3:2) Keep the emphasis on Him instead of on us. God commands us that our eyes be stayed on Him -above our own selves and all others. We shall be "LIKE HIM" when we SEE HIM means: we will be conformed to HIS image -meaning: we shall be hidden in the image and likeness "of Him" in the Revelation of Jesus Christ!!

Have you ever wondered why Moses was the meekest man on the face of the was because Moses had seen the Lord Face to face.

Paul had seen the Lord and as a result Paul saw his own self, as he really is -and he abhorred himself. When man sees his own self compared to Him in the Light of the revelation of Jesus Christ, man is utterly undone. Paul and all those who have seen the Lord bear witness of and do testify "of Him" -not of man or the glory of man, but of Him! Abraham considered himself but dust, Isaiah was undone and called himself a man of unclean lips, Daniel fell at His Feet as a dead man, Job abhorred himself and repented in dust and ashes, in the witness of John in the book of the revelation of Jesus Christ, John saw all of the elders falling on their faces before the Lamb of God, the Holy One of God who sits on the throne of God.
