Dead Works/False Works
Gal. 2:4 "...because of false brethren unawares brought in, who came in privily to spy out our liberty which we have in Christ Jesus, that they might bring us into bondage:..." This portion of scripture describes the ministry of ELLEN G. WHITE and her erroneous teachings by which she brought her followers into 'bondage' of false religion and it's dead works. Ms. White and her followers fell into the same error for which the Apostle Paul had withstood Peter to his face in Antioch. Paul corrected Peter for turning back to follow religious ordinances lest by his actions (by Peter's own erroneous example) he might confuse and mislead others. Either we are saved by grace through faith, not of works --or we turn back from the Lord to religiously follow ordinances that cannot save. Instead of following her, Ms. White should have been corrected and if need be, thrown out on her ear! Gal.2:5 "To whom we gave place by subjection, no, not for an hour; that the truth of the gospel might continue with you."
Like many other false teachers today, Ms. White (also) mislead her followers by advocating the same old heresy that was used to bewitch the Galatian church. The Apostle Paul was outraged when he learned that the Galatian believers had turned from the Lord by departing from the truth of the Gospel (to false beliefs and practices). Galatians 1:6 "I marvel that ye are so soon removed from him that called you into the grace of Christ unto another gospel: ..."
Ms. White and her bewitched followers were taken in by the false notion that it is incumbent upon each believer to somehow perfect themselves by the work of their own hands, vainly attempting to finish in the flesh that which had begun in the Spirit. This is precisely what Ms. White misled the followers of her false religion to do. Those who have been caught up in the error of Seventh Day Adventism, who follow the teachings of Ellen G, White are like foolish Galatians misled in the error of believing they must complete & maintain their own salvation by certain works intended to produce piety, maintain religious purity or holiness, and in effect, to work righteousness through prescribed practices which include religiously keeping the Sabbath, abstaining from certain meats and strict adherence to various religious ordinances.
False teachers like Ellen G. White are like thieves and robbers who steal the believer's liberty in Christ --and rob their followers of their security and rest in Jesus Christ. By her own private interpretations, through lying visions and false prophecies, Ellen G. White supplanted the truth of the Gospel of Jesus Christ. She completely removed the precious blood bought salvation (to be received by grace through faith, not of works, not of ourselves, lest any man should boast) in favor of her own perverted (false twisted) version of the gospel. Ellen G. White replaced Gospel Truth concerning the plan of salvation (as the gift of grace) with a counterfeit "performance based salvation" that must be earned, worked and preserved or kept through *ascetic* practices --to insure their salvation, otherwise known as dead works.
Paul the Apostle admonished and openly refuted the error of those who advocated the return to the weak and beggarly elements of the law, in ordinances to taste not, touch not etc. --sternly warning: all who do such things make themselves transgressors who put themselves back under the judgment of the law, (and so, are no longer under grace) and (who) are become debtors again under (religious) bondage to keep the whole law!
Ms. White, the "pseudo-spiritual" Madam-Guru
Acting as a spirit guide or a medium, manipulating & deceiving others to conform their will to the
will of another is witchcraft. Ms. White exercised a pseudo-spiritual form of ungodly lordship or
false shepherding over her followers. Ms. White was a false prophetess who with cunning
craftiness was able to coerce her followers to conform to her own teachings and in so doing she
was actually practicing a very subtle form of witchcraft. Ms. White used her powers or so-called
spiritual gifts to compel her unfortunate followers to purify themselves (to attain to a religious form
of purity) not by or through the atoning blood of Jesus Christ but through rigorous abstention from
meats and from self-indulgence, to follow a disciplinary course of conduct through renunciation of
the desires of the flesh and the pleasure of worldly things, exercising self-abasement,
self-mortification and self-denial through prescribed dress etc. in the vain hope they mightreach,
attain and/or sustain a higher spiritual state whereby her followers or disciples might gain heaven.
*Please note the red italicized text contained in the paragraph and compare it to the red italicized
text of the dictionary definition of the word, "asceticism" found in the table below: Ellen G. White was a false prophetess who manipulated people into rigid compliance to her own
man-made precepts, commands and ordinances, even using extremely subtle and highly
suggestive threats which insinuated the eternal damnation of the non-compliant. Ms. White also
required the very things of her followers that the New Testament Judaizers required, --whose
false teachings Paul the Apostle vigorously condemned and refuted. No matter how sweet or how sincere her personal motives, Ellen G. White was addicted to the
power (control) she had over her followers. She foisted off (inflicted) a rigorous form of religious
ascetics onto 'her people' through supposedly divine (but extremely convenient) dictations which,
in effect, enthroned Ms. White as the supreme pontiff, the benevolent resident guru who ruled and
reigned over HER flock regulating nearly every aspect of the lives of her duped devotees. Ellen G.
White prescribed specific modes of dress, gave detailed pronouncements concerning meat and
drink, issued sanitary laws, established guidelines for personal behavior and even divined her
own social-political platform which incorporated her own racially motivated, biased opinions about
the races. And of course, she required fanatical observance of the Saturday Sabbath -- all in "the
hope" of successfully earning one's salvation (apart from which loomed the ever present
alternative of eternal damnation for the non-compliant); she even taught that the Sunday (instead
of Saturday) Sabbath is the mark of the Beast. No matter how loving or self-sacrificing, Ms. White was deceived and her practices
were evil. Ms. White was a modern day Judaizer who drew disciples after her own
self. She exercised ungodly lordship over the flock, seduced and bewitched her
followers by her own false teachings. She succeeded in substituting a counterfeit
Jesus, a false gospel and an empty 'hope' of salvation --no longer by grace through
faith but of works, a false "performance based salvation". Her followers were forced
to earn and preserve salvation by works & deeds and obedience to her religious
dictates --thus making the cross of Christ of none effect to all those who adhere to
her teachings! Ms. White turned her followers away from the truth (by teaching
contrary to the doctrine of Christ) --and thus, Ms. White turned her followers into
transgressors (Gal.2:18; 2 John 1:9) Whether her current followers want to admit it or not, the very fact that Ellen G. White promoted a
works based salvation is enough to place her teachings in the Scripture category of false. In
addition, Ms. White also embraced the heresy that Jesus Christ is really Michael the Archangel,
thus demoting the Lord Jesus Christ to the level of a created being. By demoting the Lord Jesus
to the level of a created being, she supplanted the Biblical doctrine of Christ concerning the
immutable (unchanging) eternal (everlasting) Divine Nature of Jesus Christ as GOD the Son. By
demoting and/or changing the Lord Jesus Christ into Michael the Archangel, she denied the
eternal deity of the Lord Jesus Christ. Scripture correctly identifies all those who play around with,
contradict and/or deny the deity of Jesus Christ as deceivers who are of the spirit of Antichrist.

Galatians 2:14 But when I saw that they walked not uprightly according to the truth of the
gospel, I said unto Peter before them all, If thou, being a Jew, livest after the manner of Gentiles,
and not as do the Jews, why compellest thou the Gentiles to live as do the Jews? Galatians 2:16 Knowing that a man is not justified by the works of the law, but by the faith of
Jesus Christ, even we have believed in Jesus Christ, that we might be justified by the faith of
Christ, and not by the works of the law: for by the works of the law shall no flesh be justified. Galatians 2:18 For if I build again the things which I destroyed, I make myself a
transgressor.* Galatians 2: 21 I do not frustrate the grace of God: for if righteousness come by the law, then
Christ is dead in vain.* Galatians 3:1 O foolish Galatians, who hath bewitched you, that ye should not obey the truth,
before whose eyes Jesus Christ hath been evidently set forth, crucified among you? 2 This only
would I learn of you, Received ye the Spirit by the works of the law, or by the hearing of faith? 3
Are ye so foolish? having begun in the Spirit, are ye now made perfect by the flesh?* * 2 John 1:9 "Whosoever transgresseth, and abideth not in the doctrine of Christ, hath not
God. He that abideth in the doctrine of Christ, he hath both the Father and the Son."
